Fun loving guy here!!! I am cop and firefighter and into scuba diving, hunting, NASCAR racing. I had an auto accident that turn into stroke. I had an accident (automobile accident) (Aug. 2002) (I was not at fault) broke my right hip, fractured 9 ribs on my left side, had blood in my lungs and bruise my heart. I had therapy on my hip for ten days then I was released from Carlisle Hospital. Five days later I had a stroke. The blood clot came from my hip and “little did I know” I had a whole in my heart since birth and it traveled to my brain through the hole. All the times I went threw a physical they didn’t find I had a whole in my heart. They keep me for 38 days in the Hershey Hospital. I am doing fine? I still some problems with my right hand and my speech is all but okay… I still have problems with the right word to say but, it will all work out in the end. They gave me 5 years to recover fully....most Dr's had kicked me out of there office... so I guess I am on my way. I have a mid case of Aphasia.... what is Aphasia? Aphasia is an acquired communication disorder that impairs a person's ability to process spoken language, but does not affect intelligence.
